Recently, a BST-30 wood charcoal machine is being installed in the United States. The American customer plans to use the produced wood biochar for soil improvement. This ongoing installation brings the project one step closer to official operation.
Installation Site of Wood Recycling Project in the United States
In June 2024, Beston Group’s project staff shared some onsite photos of the BST-30 wood charcoal machine installed in the USA. Here introduce some of them to you.
Carbonization furnace is the core component of charcoal machine. The high-temperature pyrolysis process of converting waste wood into charcoal takes place here. The furnace body is made of Q245 and 310S materials, ensuring durability and efficiency. In this photo, you can see that lifting the furnace into position requires the combined effort of two construction vehicles due to its weight.
The image shows an engineering vehicle hoisting a demisting tower. You can see two people on a high platform attempting to assemble the upper chimney onto the demisting tower. The demisting tower is a crucial component of the flue gas dedusting system. It collaborates with other parts to purify exhaust gas, ensuring emissions comply with environmental standards.
In the photo, you can see a horizontal piece of equipment, the dryer. This machine reduces the moisture content of the waste wood to below 15%, ensuring efficient pyrolysis. Additionally, you can see a vertical piece of equipment, the cyclone emission deductor. This dust removal device purifies and collects larger particles from the flue gas, achieving a dedusting efficiency ranging between 70% and 85% for particulates and dust.
