In recent years, pyrolysis plant have become a significant method for treating urban green waste, municipal solid waste, as well as industrial and agricultural waste. It enables the harmless, reduced, and resource-efficient treatment of solid waste. With the rapid development of the industry, establishing uniform standards can further promote healthy growth in this field. The seminar was held in this context.
Primary Organizers: The Standardization Working Committee of the China International Economic and Technical Cooperation Promotion Association, in collaboration with the Zhongyan Institute of Standards Technology.
Meeting Objective: The aim is to establish technical indicators and specifications for solid waste treatment systems using anaerobic pyrolysis and carbonization, based on existing industry-related technical indicators and requirements. The approach follows comprehensive and systematic principles. The demonstration application of the standard will promote green and low-carbon development within the industry.
Meeting Content: Experts at the meeting actively discussed the scope, normative references, basic requirements, technical requirements, terms and definitions, system performance requirements, disposal methods, environmental protection, and safety and health aspects of the group standard for “Technical Requirements for Solid Waste Treatment Systems through Anaerobic Pyrolysis and Carbonization.”
