The increase of tire production means the acceleration of tire replacement and more and more waste tires producing. This is only waste rubber from automobile tires, if adding hose, tape, rubber shoes, and tires from other cars, the number of waste rubber is quite astonishing. If we leave such a number of waste rubber aside, it not only takes up a lot of land resources, but also becomes a mosquito breeding base. Waste rubber is “black pollution” that damages people’s health and the environment. Recycling becomes the only way of disposing waste rubber.
Three methods of recycling waste rubber:
1. Used for producing reclaimed rubber
Through selection, crushing, desulfurization, drying, filtration, extrusion and other processes, waste rubber can be processed into reclaimed rubber with various characteristics, such as latex reclaimed rubber, tire reclaimed rubber, environmental reclaimed rubber, EPDM reclaimed rubber, nitrile reclaimed rubber, butyl reclaimed rubber, high strength reclaimed rubber, etc. The reclaimed rubber can be used as an alternative to natural rubber, which can not only save cost for rubber products manufacturer, but also recycle waste rubber.
2. Processed into rubber powder
The waste rubber can be recycled by using rubber powder production line. The applications of rubber powder can be broadly divided into two areas. One is that it can be used as raw material to make various rubber products in rubber industry. Use rubber powder directly to make rubber products by adopting different methods or mixed with other rubber materials to manufacture various rubber products. The another one is the wide applications in non-rubber industry, such as highway engineering, railway system, construction industry, public works, agriculture and other polymer materials blending modification, etc.
3. Pyrolysis oil plant to recycle waste rubber/tire
The another way to turn waste tires into recycled resources is waste tire pyrolysis recycling. The final products from waste tire pyrolysis is fuel oil, carbon black and combustible gas. The gas can be recycled to heat the reactor as heat material, while the carbon black can be used as industrial material. The pyrolysis oil from waste tire has no residue and can meet environmental requirement. The tire pyrolysis plant is the most ideal method to recycle waste tires.
